Working with your Insurance Company We know accidents are a pain, so we try to make the process of fixing your car as easy as possible. We have experience working with most major insurance companies and we can help ensure that everything is taken care of correctly and quickly. Typically, this is what will occur after an accident: 1. Your car is towed to the repair shop or location of your choice. 2. If your car was taken to Sidney Body CARSTAR, an estimate will be submitted directly to your insurance company. 3. The insurance company will contact you to find out if Sidney Body CARSTAR is the repair shop you want fixing your car. You have the legal right to choose who will fix your car - the insurance company cannot force you to go to one of their preferred shops. In accordance with Ohio law, you only need one estimate. 4. The insurance company will send you a check for the cost of the repairs, minus your deductible. Normally, the check is made out to both you and the repair company. You can simply bring that check in plus the amount of your deductible. If you have any problems with payment we have finance options available. Just Ask!
